1. Physics Society - Physics Department:

The PG Association of PG & Research Department of Physics operates under the motto Passion towards Research. Through the association, PG students and faculty are involved in regular scientific updating in response to the changing needs and evolving current issues. This is achieved through seminars, workshops and guest lectures where students are enabled to interact with eminent scientists in different areas of Physics and allied subjects and be motivated towards research. Research forums enable students and faculty to discuss their own work in a non-threatening atmosphere. Presentation skills, research skills and ability to question and learn from others are learnt through this association.

2. Field Trip:

Objectives

• To inculcate research attitude among the students.
• To expose various opportunities in research institutes
• To enable students to interact with scientists and thereby enhance their understanding of theoretical and experimental Physics concepts
• To relate Physics with other subjects
