On occasion of Dr. Ashok S Juwarkar Memorial Lecture, 14 th July 2023 a visit to National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur was conducted for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students of department with kind consent of Dr. Naqui Siddiqui Former Head of department, Environmental Science. Students attended the expert lecture on “Soil type of Wardha region” followed by interactive exposure to current research technologies displayed at Harit Sangrahalay, very well explained by the research scholars and project assistant at NEERI, Nagpur coordinated by faculty Dr. Anagha Patil accompanied by the faculty at department Ms. Sukhada Nagpure, Ms. Tanushree Mendhe, Dr. Shital Kharwade and Ms. Prajakta Hajare.

On occasion of Prof. P Khanna Memorial Lecture, 14th August 2023 students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. visited to National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI)

A visit of graduate and postgraduate students of department was conducted at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) Nagpur under the aegis of “One week One lab @ CSIR-NEERI” on 8 th April 2023 by Dr. Anagha Patil and Ms. Sukhada Nagpure faculty at department with kind consent of Dr. Mohd. Idrees Siddique Head of department and appraised by Hon. Dr. Anjali Rahatgaonkar Director, Institute of Science, Nagpur highlighting the necessity of such exposure to students for pursuing the career in research. Students attended an expert talk by Dr. K V George Scientist, CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur on “Earth, Atmosphere and Pollution” followed by visit to various divisional laboratories to understand the on-going research and applications-working of analytical instruments along-with the Harit Sangrahalay displaying the recent research technologies of NEERI, Nagpur.

Students of M.Sc were demonstrated with the on-site water sampling techniques and on-site analysis of dissolved oxygen, water quality characteristic on 31st March 2022 at Ambazari Lake by Dr. Anagha Patil faculty, department of Environmental Science accompanied by Ms. Sukhada Nagpure faculty at department.
